Letter to Daniel Ortega

Dear Daniel:

With great satisfaction I just listened to your excellent speeches at the 8th Petrocaribe Summit. It was very just that the venue of the meeting is Nicaragua, a country that was capable of overcoming the artful blow of the empire under the government of one of the most uneducated and cynical frauds selected by the U.S. oligarchy.

With money from drug and weapons, that country extracted from the Venezuelan prisons the main terrorist of the group trained by the CIA to destroy a Cuban airliner in midflight, killing all 73 people on board, including young Cubans who had just won the Central American Fencing Championship.

In many peoples of Our America, such as Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Panama, Mexico and others, U.S. hired assassins have left their bloody footprints.

It would be endless to include in this letter the dozens of crimes and looting that the governments and repressive forces from the empire and its conspiratorial bastards have carried out in the world.

To you Daniel, and Rosario, I wish to congratulate you for today’s awesome meeting.

I have to mention on a day like today, the sincere, courageous and clear voice of Nicolas Maduro, a man of pure working lineage, modest, honest and poor, who never aspired to any post and today complies with the duty handed over to him by the unforgettable Hugo Chavez, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, when fate prevented him from devoting every minute, every second, to what today is the noblest dream of humanity.

Maduro has shown the talent, integrity and energy the great leader marked in him.

Talent also shines among the leaders who met in Managua. I’m sure that they, together with Bolivar’s homeland and associated with it, are fighting for their people’s right to health, education, development and material and moral welfare.

I cannot conclude these words without expressing my affection for Rafael Correa, President of Ecuador, who at this very moment, when the empire threatens with wars and the possible use of sophisticated weapons against the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation, two powerful nations that never were colonial powers and today are victims of threatening attitudes by the United States, strongly rejected the threats by the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. Senate, if the political asylum requested from Ecuador by Edward Snowden werw granted.

A statement from the Presidency of the Republic states: “Ecuador does not accept pressures or threats from anyone, nor does it trade with the principles or submits them to mercantile interests as important as they are”.

Congratulations to all, Daniel. For you and Rosario, a big hug.

Until Victory Always! As our Commander Hugo Chavez used to say.
