On Friday, May 8, from 6:30 on into the night, join us at The Brooklyn Commons for an event benefiting AK Press. Listen, read, dance, drink, buy books and records and give some hard or easy earned or found dough to AK Press along with their neighbors in Oakland, CA to help them recover from a devastating fire that happened on March 21. Every $1, 5, $10 or $20 bill used to get into The Commons will then be sent off to AK on May 10.
