Roberto Sirvent, Black Agenda Report Book Forum Editor, talks with Dr. Howard Waitzkin in one of a series of interviews, in which BAR asks authors five questions about their books. Waitzkin is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of New Mexico and Adjunct Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois. He wrote Health Care Under the Knife: Moving Beyond Capitalism for Our Health with the Working Group on Health Beyond Capitalism.
